Location

St Peter's Church is in the Historic Downtown District of Freehold Borough on the corner of Main Street (Route 537) and Throckmorton Street. The church faces south on Throckmorton. We are easily reached from Route 33, Route 9, Route 18 or I-195. From any of these roads, exit at Route 537 towards Freehold.

Take Route 537 into Freehold. From the north, turn right onto Throckmorton at the Rita's Ice. From the south, turn left onto Throckmorton at the Rita's Ice.

Parking Directions

There is on-street parking as well as a municipal lot.

During construction of Crossroads at St. Peter’s, the gate to the Broad Street lot is locked. Parking is still easy in the Broad Street lot - follow the brick path behind the church to Main Street, turn right, turn right again, and come to the church as shown in the map below. It will take 90 seconds to 2 minutes!

For the Broad Street municipal lot, pass the church on your right on Throckmorton, take right at the light on Broad Street and right again into the Broad Street parking lot. Permit parking area may be used between 11:00 am and 2:00 pm Monday-Friday, and all day Saturday and Sunday.  There is also a two-hour section.  During construction, pedestrian access to the church property from the lot is by the brick path behind the church to Main Street, and then turn right at the corner to Throckmorton. It is a brief walk!
