As COVID-19 requires us to be the Church in new ways, our ministry is evolving both at the crossroads of daily life in Freehold and online. Wherever people gather, in person or through online communities, we seek to offer welcome, grace, and God’s Good News for a wounded world. Explore this page for information and links to worship schedules, faith formation resources, and opportunities to serve others in our community.

We give…
Financial Support and Stewardship
The church is the people of gathered at worship and service. We use buildings to help us fulfill God’s mission, but they are tools, not definitions of who we are. We continue doing the work of God. As the work of St. Peter’s continues, so does its expenses. We are facing a time of reduced income, but most of expenses are fixed. Staff and clergy continue to work, and buildings need to be maintained and insured. The work of Crossroads also continues. Contributions and pledge payments can be made online using the button below or by mailing a check to St. Peter’s Church, 33 Throckmorton St., Freehold, NJ 07728.
We are formed in faith…
Diocesan Sunday School
Join us for Sunday School from the Diocese of New Jersey, led by our own Anne Delgado. Videos are posted each week on the diocesan YouTube channel for viewing anytime.
Faith Formation at St. Peter’s
Faith formation, or the forming of people as disciples of Jesus Christ, is a lifelong journey. So, we offer a variety of programs to help equip people of all ages for this journey. In doing so we develop a faith of the head, the heart, and the hands. Join us as we live out our baptismal vows as a community of faith!
Faith Practices
Faith practices are specific and deliberate actions we take in our journeys as disciples of Jesus Christ. As we intentionally practice these habits, we grow closer to God. Each month of 2021, we will focus on a specific faith practice, offering resources to help guide you as you grow in faith. We invite you to come “taste and see that the Lord is good.” (Psalm 34:8)
We serve others…
Helping the Emergency Housing Advocacy Program
The Emergency Housing and Advocacy Program serves the homeless and vulnerable of our community. EHAP offers services for housing, jobs, assistance with benefits, coordination of medical, mental health, and legal services as well as providing toiletries and other supplies for emergency situations. EHAP offers an emergency hospitality program for homeless men. Please support us at www.ehapinc.org/donate.
Helping Open Door
Freehold Area Open Door based in our Keith Building is one of the primary resources for the food insecure. They prepare grocery bags for pick-up on Tuesdays and Thursdays and seek donations to help meet their need. They have seen an incredible increase in the number of people needing their services during this pandemic. Your contributions makes a huge difference. To learn more, click the button below:
Community Suppers at St. Peter’s
Our community suppers continue on 2nd and 4th Fridays with meals prepared to go by a small team of volunteers. Instead of asking people to grocery shop for specific items, your contributions will allow us to buy ingredients from a local restaurant supply company and safely prepare to-go boxes for distribution.
The St. Peter’s Thrift Shop
Our Thrift Shop is a vital social justice ministry that serves many in our community. Opening hours:
Mon-Tue: 10:00 am - 2:00 pm
Thu-Fri: 10:00 am - 2:30
Saturday: 10:00 am - 3:00 pm
CLOSED Wednesdays and Sundays
We need volunteers to safely operate this store—be a part of the team that serves the community and supports our ministries!
